Points rules+
How players earn points+
Your players score points for what they do in real World Cup matches - playing, scoring, assisting, keeping clean sheets and more. Only your starting 11 score, and your captain scores double.
Playing time+
A player who gets on the pitch earns 1 point, rising to 2 points if they play 60 minutes or more.
Goals+
A goal is worth 6 points for a goalkeeper or defender, 5 for a midfielder and 4 for a forward.
Assists+
Every assist is worth 3 points, whatever the player's position.
Clean sheets+
Goalkeepers and defenders who play 60+ minutes earn 4 points for a clean sheet; midfielders earn 1. Every 2 goals their team concedes costs a goalkeeper or defender 1 point.
Goalkeeper bonuses+
Goalkeepers earn 1 point for every 3 saves and 5 points for saving a penalty.
Extra bonuses+
Winning a penalty is worth 2 points.
Losing points+
Yellow card -1, red card -3, own goal -2, missed penalty -2. Penalty shootouts don't count towards fantasy points.

What is a matchday?+
A matchday is defined as every US calendar day. You can see each matchday in the Matchday tab on the World Cup section in the app. Transfers open every day after the last game finishes and close before the next deadline.
I'm already on Hyperbeat - what do I do?+
Open the World Cup section, build your squad before kick-off, and you're in. Points and any prize land in your Hyperbeat account automatically. There's nothing else to claim.
I'm new - how do I get started?+
Sign up free in about 90 seconds, open the World Cup section, and build your squad. The card is free and there's no entry fee for the game.
Do I have to spend to play?+
Entry is free. To stay eligible for cash prizes you need to either spend at least $500 on anything with your Hyperbeat card or trade/predict at least $50,000 in volume - before 15 July 2026, 4AM UTC. Spending, trading and referring all boost your points too.
How do boosts work?+
Your boost multiplies the points your squad earns each matchday. Earn it three ways - card spend, trading volume and referrals - up to a combined +20%. Boosts reset every matchday.
Can I change my team?+
Yes. Before each matchday deadline you get 2 free transfers to swap players. Every transfer beyond that costs 3 points.
When do prizes land?+
After the tournament ends, prizes are paid as a single statement credit to your Hyperbeat account, typically within 30 days of the final.

01 · Promoter+
This promotion ("the Promo") is provided and operated by Zoeion Ltd Corporation (the "Company", "we", "our" or "us"). By participating you agree to these terms in addition to the standard Hyperbeat Cardholder Agreement.
02 · Promo period+
The game runs across the World Cup 2026 group and knockout stages. Eligibility and scoring are determined per matchday by the official fixture schedule.
03 · Eligibility+
All those that meet the campaign requirements.
04 · Prize eligibility+
To stay eligible for cash prizes a cardholder must either spend at least $500 on anything with their Hyperbeat card or trade/predict at least $50,000 in volume before 15 July 2026, 4AM UTC. Points are still earned without meeting this, but cash-prize eligibility requires hitting one of the two thresholds.
05 · Eligible food & drink spend+
Any bar or restaurant classified under a standard food & beverage merchant code qualifies. Fast food, cafes and fine dining all count - as long as it's food or drink. The eligible MCC codes are 5811 (Caterers), 5812 (Eating Places & Restaurants), 5813 (Drinking Places - Bars & Taverns) and 5814 (Fast Food Restaurants).
06 · Squad & scoring+
A squad is 15 players (2 GK, 5 DEF, 5 MID, 3 FWD), maximum 3 players per nation, within a $100m budget ($105m in the knockout stage). Points follow the official FIFA World Cup 2026 Fantasy scoring; the captain scores double.
07 · Prize pool & split+
A total pool of $150,000 is split among the top 2,000 finishers on a descending curve down to a $30 floor. Ranks 2,001 and below receive $0. Final standings are taken after the last match of the tournament settles.
